Dave's party was a hit. I couldn't have wished it to be better. Everything turned out perfect. Dave had a blast and so did everyone else! Thanks everyone for coming and celebrating Daves 30th with us! We love you all tons!!!!

They danced with these balls on a rope and they kept getting stuck in all the decorations. They did good anyways.

They had some of us girls learn how to hula. It was funny and embarrassing.

I made this volcano cake for Dave's birthday cake. I had a jar in the middle of it and put dry ice in it to look like it was smoking.

I made chocolate covered cupcakes to thank everyone for coming.

70 year old man beats 27 year old girl!!!

Don't be fooled I was not the Athlete of the year. You see the 70 year old man running next to me...he is the athlete of the year. In the magazine article it said "70 year old man kills 27 year old girl. He passed her with not a drip of sweat while this young girl looked like she was going to pass out and this picture was taken at the 1st mile mark. This just shows you age does not matter." I was very embarrassed when I saw and read this. Oh well what are you going to do ha! Ha!

SLC 1/2 Marathon 2009

Well I made it, I can't believe it. I seriously almost started to cry when I crossed the finish line because I couldn't believe I just did it. It was so...hard. When little old people are passing me it's very discouraging :( The funny thing is that I have already ran one but for some reason this one was much harder, maybe cause I was running it faster and that some of it was up hill where in Provo none of it was up hill. It was hard but man do I feel like I just accomplished so much. I am so happy that I did it and will continue doing it for the rest of my life! I am planning on doing a full marathon this summer. Anyone in? Here was my time and placing... 1 hour 49 min 39 seconds and last year I got 2 hours 3 min. Yahoo I killed my time! Placed 731 out of...are you ready for this...4,125.

1/2 Marathon!

These are pics of last years 1/2 marathon my 1st and only one I have ran so far, Provo River 1/2 marathon. It was a blast but I got really sick that morning and almost had to not run I just kept thinking about the $30 I paid and made myself do it. I am so glad I did, I loved it and it even made my hubby want to run it this year with me. I have already signed us up. If anyone else wants to run it it is on August 8th! Tomorrow I am running my 2nd 1/2 marathon up in Salt Lake. I can't wait but sad cause my hubby has to fly so he won't be there :( If anyone wants to cheer for me at the finish line it starts at 6am thats not early....yeah right. Wish me luck I hope to get a better time then last year! Last years time was 2 hours 3 min. I'm shooting for 45 min flat or I guess 1 hour 45 min if I just jog...ha ha!

Happy 30th Birthday Baby!

Dave turned 30! I think he looks better then ever. He had a great day and he felt better then ever. He loved turning 30. He feels like he has accomplished so much and feels great about it. I always say "It doesn't matter how old you are its the way you feel is the true age you are!" He feels young and still looks it too. Happy birthday baby!

I took Dave out for his 30th birthday by ourselves. Thanks to my sistern'law and brothern'law they baby sat Dexton. Dave wanted to go somewhere we hadn't ever gone before. We decided to go to Squaters up in down town Salt Lake. It was ok not the best. They don't even do ANYTHING for birthdays which kinda sucked but we still had a good time. His real birthday bash doesn't start till next Friday. I am throwing him a HUGE party. I have been planning it for a year now. It's going to be so much fun...atleast I hope so. Happy birthday Baby! Thanks for everything you do for a little family! Love you tons!!!!
