Mt. Timpanogas!

Mount Timpanogas

The Top!
On the top posing by the Shack
There wasn't even one drop of snow when we started this hike. This is how it was from the top down. MISERABLE!

Us in the cloud
In the middle of the Hike going up. Already tired :)
Dave, Me, Tava, Alex, Mark, Will, & Erin
Me at the Saddle. So happy :)
I just love my Dave! This was so fun to do with him!

So our friends Alex and Tava thought it would be fun if we all hiked Mount Timpanogas together. Everyone had hiked it before but Will and I. I was stoked! I climbed Mount Nebo when I was in high school and loved it. So we left early morning (4am to be exact) on Saturday and met at the bottom of AF canyon and drove to the bottom. It was dark but got light fast. We didn't start till 5am and got done at 1pm. I know we're slow. By the time we got to the top I was so happy. This hike wasn't that hard getting up and what an accomplishment to get to the top. It was awesome because half our hike up we were in a cloud which you can see in the pictures. We couldn't even see the city because of the cloud. It started to get colder so we thought we would head back down. Not even one min after we decided we better go it started to snow then 2 minutes later bullets of hale started pouring down and it felt like someone was shooting a million bb's at us all over our body. It freaking killed. The wind was blowing so hard and then the lightning and thunder started. All of a sudden Dave jumps back... not even 25 feet in front of us lightning struck. We all could feel it and Dave's hair stood up. All us girls were paniking. I was so scared I just kept thinking of Dexton and Angie having to take him. I don't know what I was more scared of the lightning or Angie taking Dexton if I died...:) Finally about 10 min later the lightning stopped but the hale and snow kept coming. Now I was miserable! From the top down I seriously just kept thinking when is this going to be over with. I am so glad I did it but will I ever do it again? I don't know, if I do I will make sure the forecast is 100% GOOD.

You've got to move it! move it!

Alright, beware these pictures are a little scary...
So our good friends Alex and Tava threw this awesome 90's Party for Alex's Birthday.
They had a BIG DANCE PARTY!
We danced all night to 90's music.
Why 90's you ask...Alex's absolutly loves the 90's and the music.
It was so much fun and whoever said you need to be drunk to have this much fun!
Though I wish I could have said I was drunk and that's why I looked like a freaking FOOL! :)

What the hell am I doing!
What the hell is he doing... I think it's Ben doing the worm???
Alex doing...???
Tom Dancing???
Steph moving it like Gwen Stafani!
Go Kim!
Alex attempting the one leg jump
Will doing the one leg jump
Christie showing off her moves!
What the $%#! Isn't that guy 40 something LOL
Just Kidding it's Alex freaking showing us how to really dance!
Oh I just love Christie!!!
Can you believe Christie is with this guy. This is one of those situations you think to yourself..."How did that guy get that girl?" LOL!!!
Don't they just look so cute together!

DAVE PLACED #1,076 AND RAN IT IN 2:08:27
ALEX PLACED #1,443 AND RAN IT IN 2:21:30

My time running this race last year was 2:02 so ran it alot faster this year. And my time in Salt Lake was 1:49 so beat that race by a min. Wahoo!
Dave did freaking amazing.
Alex thought for sure he would have 12 min miles and ran it way faster then that!
This was Dave's and Alex's first race ever.
Way to go guys!!!
I look forward to running many many more races with you guys!!!

2009 Provo River 1/2 Marathon

So this was my 3rd 1/2 Marathon and it's only the beginning. I am addicted! I absolutely love it! And I got my hubbie Dave and our good friend Alex to run it with me this time. Tave, Alex's wife, was also going to run it with us but when she went to sign up registration was closed :( But she is going to be running one soon. But it was great. I loved having people I know run it with me. It was actually funny cause when I was running a women called out my name and it was my friends mom from high school/neighbor growing up, running the 1/2 too and saw me. It was great. I was so impressed she was running it cause she just got a pace maker in. Crazy I know. Amazing I know! Go Connie Morgan! We are not sure what are times are though yet because we were at the back of the pack so we're thinking our times are 10 min quicker then the clock said. Atleast I hope it is! Dave and Alex did freaking awesome being their first time. Alex thought he was going to average 12 min miles and Dave thought he would do bad cause he had knee problems. Nope they did great averaging 10 min miles. Go Team Dave and Alex. I for some reason did not feel well, (had stomic issues, a lot of runners get this, I don't know why) and the ironic thing this exact thing happened last year at this race. But I did it and survived and had a pretty good time I think. This is only the begining of running! I love it, will continue doing it as long as I possibly can, and
I WILL BE RUNNING A FULL MARATHON BY 2011!!!!
Me and My Dave!
Our hottie husbands!
(Check out Alex's Nipples. They almost started bleeding LOL)
Dave Finishing Strong!
Go Dave!
Alex Dancing In! Atleast that's what it looks like :)
Alex happy that he finished it and feeling great!!!
Alex and his baby Andy
Me Finishing Running at 100%

My friend Tava yelled my name and I couldn't even see her with all the people. I was trying to figure out who was yelling my name :)
For accurate times they had us wear chips on our shoes to keep track of our times. At the end they were clipping the chips off from our shoes. At the Salt Lake Half they gave us ones that we could keep.

HOW DO YOU LIKE YOUR CUPCAKES?

So the other day I was talking to a couple of my friends about cupcakes. My friend Tava bought a cupcake from this place in the University Mall and had me try it. I thought it was good, she thought it was ok. It was very light and fluffy where she and my other friend said they like them more dense.
So my question for everyone "How do you like your Cupcakes"
Moist and Dense
or
Light and Fluffy
And
How much frosting do you like?
Very little, Medium, or as much frosting as cupcakes.

Please let me know I really need to know what most people like and who better to ask then my best costumers...friends and family!
Thanks a million!!!
