So every year we have a Halloween party with our friends and family. It seems like every year the number of guest gets bigger and bigger. This year 33 people and that is with NO kids. It was a costume party of course and our good friends Christie and Ben hosted the party at their house this year. We ate yummy salads and burritos that we all brought, had a scavenger hunt, played games at the house, and ate lots and lots of cupcakes :) We voted on the best costume and "Jessica Simpson" won by a land slide! I didn't get a picture, dangit, but it was our friend Dallas dressed in a short mini skirt, cowboy boots and all. He looked great, if you look in the guy picture you might can see him. Thanks for the great party everyone! Can't wait to have our Annual Christmas Party here now!!!

So last year for the Halloween Party we did a scavenger hunt and everyone loved it so much we decided to make it a tradition. We made a list of 20+ items we needed to find and then drew out 10. Instead of having to get items it was a picture scavenger hunt and you had to do it in an hour. Everything had to be in the picture. Well we sucked and got DEAD last and we didn't even get our last item, a team member hula hooping. We suck! Oh well it was fun!

I usually don't post my cupcakes on my family blog, but I had to for the holiday. Got inspired to do these cupcakes from Disneyland! Lots of decorations of Jack Skeleton. I only wish I had black frosting but oh well it works :)

Dexton was so....good on the airplane!!! They say 3rd times a charm, but this is the 5th or 6th time Dexton has been on an airplane and besides when he was a baby this is the 1st time he actually was really good! Yae for Dexton!!!

Ok, so Dexton is 2 and has been to Disney World once, and now has been to Disneyland 4 times!!! Why not??? We are season pass holders, Dexton is FREE till he is 3, we get to fly for FREE, hotels are super cheap because we use our American Express Card points for anything with Travel (hint hint: I would highly recommend if you like to travel to get a AMX card, all your points go to anything with travel) and Dexton absolutly loves it! I wish I could say the same but I don't. If it wasn't for Dexton I probably wouldn't ever go back to Disney again. I get sick on the rides, I don't like to wait 30 min to an hour for a ride I don't even want to go on, I think it's over rated, and Im just not a fan. Sorry Disney lovers, I'm the Disney scrooge! I'm more a cruise/water/beach girl. Though I would love to go on a Disney cruise one day, though I heard it cost a fortune!!!

1st Batch of Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies...

So my friend Annie Belliston sent me this recipe saying it was her favorite Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe. YUMMY!!! So far my favorite and I have already made 5 different kinds. This recipe is awesome because the LONGER they sit the more MOIST they get! Saweet!!!! But the main reason I like this recipe is because NO OIL OR BUTTER!!! Yae I get to eat more!!! You have to try this recipe! Thanks Annie for the recipe!!!
p.s. I did not use ginger in mine and they still turned out really good.

1 Spice Cake Mix
1/4 Cup flour
2 eggs
1/3 cup applesauce
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ginger
1/2 can pumpkin
1 cup chocolate chips

Stir together and add chocolate chips. Bake at 350 for 11-12 minutes

Looking for the Best Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe!!!

So it's that time...pumpkin everything!!! I had a cupcake order for pumpkin cupcakes and with the leftovers I added chocolate chips and boy were they delicious!!! It was a pumpkin chocolate chip cupcake which made me crave of course pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. I have made them many many times before and have not been happy with the recipe. I tried another new one and again they were ok but not what I was looking for. My absolute favorite pumpkin chocolate chip cookie is from Albertsons. I know weird, Albertsons, but I love them, so if anyone knows of a recipe similir to theirs I would love to try the recipe. I already have 4 recipes that are so called the "best recipe" ever so I am going to try them all out and let people try them and vote which one they like the best. So give me your recipe so I can try it out. What is October without Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies!
